The existing gravel parking lot at Buda City Park nearest the pavilion will be replaced with all-weather surface parking spaces.
Current Status:
The City is finalizing a package to take Phase II, which includes the east parking lot, to bid and subsequently construction. The improvements to the east parking lot were included in the full City Park improvements, but due to the original cost, Phase II was put on hold. The improvements to the east parking lot will complete the City Park parking lot project.

Current Status:
The project was released for bidding in early December 2023.
City Council’s evaluation and selection of a contractor occurred on Jan. 3, 2024. City Council awarded the construction contract to Harris Road Company of Wimberley, Texas, for $603,943.83. Two parking lots were awarded. The North Parking Lot included 70 parking spaces, and the West Parking Lot included 51 spaces, totaling 121 new parking spaces in City Park.
The contractor began construction of the parking lots in late-January 2024. The parking lots are constructed and the project is complete!
