ONION CREEK TRAIL

The City of Buda constructed a multi-use trail of approximately 7,700 feet that runs along Onion Creek.
Contracted Firm: Freese and Nichols, Inc.
Current Status:
The construction of the trail is complete! A ribbon cutting and grand opening was held on May 30, 2025. See some photos from the event below.
Bond Amount: $553,500
Hays County has contributed $550K in funding for this project through the 2020 Parks & Open Space Bond.
